My name is Dan Reeves and I’m an aviation photographer within Jet Junkies from Leicester in the United Kingdom. I wish I was an aviation photographer full time but alas it is just a hobby at present, because of where I live I get inbound aircraft going into East Midlands Airport so if something interesting does come in, few and far between sadly, I will photograph them but they are normally high up, around 4,500ft and a mile to the east or so. What I truly love to photograph are military aircraft and I’ve been to some great countries doing that, Russia, Kazakhstan and the like, the rarer the better as far as I’m concerned. I’ve been into aviation now since I joined the Air Training Corps way back in 2003 and I’ve been hooked on it ever since, I bought my first DSLR camera back in 2012 and I’ve been developing my skills ever since.  I use 2 cameras but my main one is a Canon 5D MKIII with a Sigma 150-600MM attached on the front of it, my second one is a Canon 7D with a Canon 18-135MM which I use for close up work.
